Deirdre is a food photographer in Dublin with over 15 years of experience in producing elegant food photography.
She worked in New York for 10 years, with the New York Times for 7 and produced a lot of editorial food photography assignments and restaurant photography during her years at the Times. This experience has taught her to photograph food in natural, soft light so it looks at it’s most appetising.
If natural light is not available she will use artificial light but mix it with the existing light so that it does not look too artificial or harsh. Either way, Deirdre produces images that have clean lines, are perfectly composed, stylish and sophisticated.
